North Star Classic 2012
Robert (Bob) and Paulette Bullinger live in Bismarck, North Dakota. They have seven children and five grandchildren. They own Circle Diamond Ranch Supply in Mandan, North Dakota and have operated a Featherlite Trailer dealership for over twenty years. In the past fifteen years they have been in the "Top Ten" dealerships for Featherlite in the United States.
Bob was raised on the Eckroth Hereford Ranch near Flasher, North Dakota. As a youngster he was active in many 4-H projects, including cattle judging and showing. He showed cattle often at the Valley City Winter Show during those years. He managed Dawson Ranches in Flasher and Wing for ten years in the 1970's. He also managed and operated the Missouri Slope Livestock in Bismarck in late 1970 for three years.
In the mid 1980's he organized and promoted his own rodeo, the XL Rodeo south of Bismarck. A supporter of local rodeo, he purchased a stagecoach and team to add to the color of the "Old West" during performances.
Bob started out in business on his own by first selling feed and livestock handling equipment. In 1990 he purchased the current location on the "Strip" between Bismarck and Mandan where Circle Diamond Ranch Supply is now located at 4228 Memorial Highway. At that time he added the Featherlite Trailer dealership to his other livestock handling product lines.
Currently, Bob purchases and markets one hundred eighty commercial head of black and red Angus bred heifers for re-sale every year.
Bob is a 20 year member of the North Dakota Stockman's Association; he supports local 4-H events and the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame. He has been a vendor at the Valley City Winter Show, the North Star Classic and North Dakota State Fair for many years.
